Hey, I’m Paul Meissner and after quitting my day-job-of-doom as an accountant seven years ago, I’ve been building my own online “Freedom Accounting Firm” that allows me to travel the world and live a life of freedom and adventure.

David Boyar

I earned my CA at a mid tier accounting firm where I quickly realised there wasn't that much value in producing year end accounts 18 months after business owners could have acted on the information.
I set up my own specialist CFO business for SMEs offering financial mentoring, cashflow budgeting, monthly business insight reports and cloud integration. At the start of 2016, I co-founded the Virtual CFO Association.
I joined ChangeGPS as GM of Growth and then CEO to drive the development of the industry. I am one of the youngest Fellow Chartered Accountants in Australia. He loves using accounting to help Aussie mums and dads so much that I did a TedX talk on it.
I believe that technology has opened up a huge opportunity for our industry, but without the services we overlay it with, SMEs won’t actually benefit.
I work Brisbane and when not working, I am either re-watching the 2016 Western Bulldogs Premiership replay or enjoying time with my family.
